Wanda Zimmermann (2001 born in Lörrach, Deutschland) is an emerging artist whose work explores the interplay of color, movement, and expression. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the „Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW“ in Basel, Switzerland, after previously studying at an art academy in North Rhine-Westphalia. She lives and works in Basel.

Zimmermann primarily works with acrylic on watercolor paper and canvas, often incorporating charcoal drawings to create dynamic, multi-layered compositions. Her style is characterized by bold brushstrokes and intense color contrasts, deliberately avoiding precise detail in favor of new perspectives and expressive depth.

Rather than aiming for realistic representation, her paintings serve as subjective interpretations of her perceptions and emotions. Through a free, often spontaneous approach, she creates works of striking intensity that invite viewers to immerse themselves in her unique visual world.
